Every photograph is a chance to capture and remember something special.  People look at photographs in a couple of ways.  The first, and most obvious, is with your eyes.  But the second, and most important is with your heart.  I want my photographs to make you smile, and remember exactly what you were thinking or feeling at that time.  This is as important in an individual portrait as it is with any wedding image.  From the outrageous laughter of a child, to the loving look of a father dancing with his little girl at her wedding, you will remember the warm fuzzy feeling of that special moment. 

I do not take pictures; I create images.  You stick pictures in a shoebox and put them in the closet, but an image is different.  Images become family heirlooms, images put a smile on your face when you look at them, images remind you of the who and the why…

The great thing about people is that everyone has some special quality that makes them unique.  My job is just to let that come out in your images.  I shoot in a way that involves people in a very intimate fashion.  I am always happy when a client chooses to let me be a part of their special moments.  It is a privilege that I take pride in.
